Together Memo ("the Service") values your privacy and processes only the minimum information necessary. This policy explains what information the Service processes and how.
1. Information we process
The Service has no sign-up or login and does not collect identifying information such as your name or phone number. We process: (1) the note content and images you create or upload, (2) for private notes, the password — never stored in plain text, only as a bcrypt hash, (3) your access IP address, used to prevent spam and excessive creation, (4) standard access logs for general operation, and (5) for password-protected notes where a recovery email was optionally registered, the email address itself (stored in plain text and used only to mail recovery verification codes).
2. Purpose of use
The information is used only to provide the real-time collaborative note feature, to send recovery verification codes when the user requests a password reset, to prevent abuse and spam (rate-limiting note creation and recovery requests), and to improve the Service.
3. Retention and deletion
A note becomes inactive (dormant) 24 hours after creation and, without further extension, is permanently deleted or archived after a period of time. When a note is deleted, its associated images, password hash, and registered recovery email are deleted with it. Recovery verification codes are auto-discarded 10 minutes after issuance.
4. Cookies and local storage
For your convenience the Service stores your list of recently accessed memos only in your browser (local storage); this information is never sent to the server and can be cleared from your browser at any time.
5. Third-party sharing and processing
The Service does not sell or provide user information to third parties. The following processor is engaged for the password-recovery email flow: (1) processor — Resend, Inc. (resend.com); (2) scope of work — delivering a 6-digit verification code to the email address the user registered; (3) data transferred — recipient email address, memo link name, and the verification code. This data is not used or retained for any purpose beyond delivery. We comply with applicable law where a lawful request is made.
6. Your rights
Notes are anonymous and stored temporarily. If you want a specific note deleted immediately, please wait for expiry or contact us at the address below.
