Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Together Memo ("the Service"). By using the Service you are deemed to agree to these terms.
1. Overview
The Service is a temporary, real-time collaborative note tool provided link-based without sign-up. Created notes expire automatically after 24 hours; active time can be extended via the in-app extend button. For password-protected notes (private or view-only), users may optionally register a recovery email address to receive a verification code for password reset.
2. User responsibilities
You must not create, upload, or share content that: (1) violates applicable law, including intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights of others, defamation, insult, or invasion of privacy; (2) is obscene, depicts child sexual abuse, or is violent, hateful, or discriminatory; (3) promotes fraud, phishing, spam, gambling, or other illegal transactions; (4) contains malware, malicious scripts, hacking tools, or comparable payloads; (5) publishes another person's personal or non-public information without their consent; (6) interferes with the proper operation of the Service or accesses it by improper means; or (7) registers as a recovery email an address that you do not own or are not authorized to use. You are solely responsible for all content you create, upload, or share, and for any consequences resulting from it.
3. Content and data
Notes are stored temporarily and deleted automatically after 24 hours. The Service does not guarantee permanent retention or backups, so please store important content separately.
4. Content monitoring and removal
The Service does not pre-screen user content and has no general obligation to monitor it. However, if the Service becomes aware that content violates Section 2 or applicable law, or receives a legitimate report or request from a rights holder, user, or law enforcement authority, the Service may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, delete, block, or restrict access to any memo, image, or sub-page, and may block access by users who repeatedly or egregiously violate these terms. Such actions are taken to comply with legal obligations or to prevent rights violations, and the Service is not liable for damages arising from decisions to leave content up or to take it down, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
5. Reports and notices
If you find unlawful or harmful content on the Service, or believe your rights have been infringed, please report it to admin@togethermemo.com with (a) the URL of the offending memo, (b) the nature of and basis for the violation, and (c) your contact information. The Service will review and act on the report within a reasonable time.
6. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and without any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service shall not be liable for any damages arising from (a) the content, legality, or accuracy of user content, (b) disputes among users, (c) third-party content, (d) data loss, service interruption, external attacks, or other causes beyond the Service operator's reasonable control, or (e) any user's violation of these terms or applicable law. If any claim or action is brought by a third party arising out of your content, you shall resolve it at your own expense and risk, and you shall also indemnify the Service for any damages it incurs.
7. Changes
The Service may change these terms and the Service itself when necessary; changes are announced on this page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Service shall be subject to the court of first instance having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
